Building A Vendor’s Directory
April 7, 2009
Dear Fellow Members of NYSFDMA,
As a new member service, this May your organization will be producing a Member - Vendor Directory. The Vendor section of the publication will have complete listings by category of the businesses, services and agencies that support direct-marketing farmers. The member section will list your business with a brief description. Through this network we can help support each other and our trusted vendors.
In an effort to make this a valuable tool for you, we are asking you to share your preferred vendors contact list with us. Using the below excel form, please reply with your top preferred vendors/service providers/agencies. Full contact information is needed for each vendor you recommend be listed in the directory. We also ask that you indicate what type of service or product they offer by choosing a category provided in the drop down list. If more than one category applies, please choose the most correct category from the drop down list and indicate others in the Notes column.
Once the directories are completed, you will receive a copy as a benefit of being a member of New York State Farmers Direct Marketing Association. This directory will be available to non-members for a fee.
We encourage you to contribute to this directory for the benefit of all the organizational members. Please include your farm/business in your vendor list.
Your time and effort are gratefully appreciated and we ask for an immediate response as the Directory goes to press this May. If you are unable to open the excel spreadsheet please contact us so that we may get a form to you.
